Career women, especially those who are already married, automatically bear a double burden, both in the work and family environment. Therefore, the concept of a dual role for women emerged, which is the application of the role of women in two domains at once, namely the domestic and public domains. The dual role of working women has a positive or negative impact, if the role is able to contribute to the stability of the family or society, then it is considered functional and referred to as a change in the functional structure of family life and vice versa. The problem phenomenon that occurs in career women is that they go to work every day from 07.00 to 16.00 even if there is a lot of work to be done, they work overtime until the evening or they have to go out of town due to work. Due to the busyness of career women, they often do not have time for family, including in carrying out their roles and functions towards the family. This research is a field research, while the method uses qualitative research methods which are analyzed descriptively. The results found that the role of career women in carrying out family functions, namely economic functions, educational functions, reproductive functions, affection functions, maintenance, and protection.
